Project Description
Forest of Memories is a student-led art exhibition that uses light, sound, and handmade sculptural elements to create an extraordinary world of possibilities. Because this exhibition has many interactive elements, our team needed to figure out how to lead the audience through the exhibition and communicate which elements were interactive.

Process
A gallery map was created for easy user navigation, guiding the audience through the exhibit, while also effectively communicating which displays were interactive. "Please touch" icons were developed and placed next to the interactive areas, along with descriptions of what each piece would do.

Signage
Signage was also created to indicate exits and caution audience members who may experience medical difficulties from lights or sounds.

Solution
This project challenged us to think beyond aesthetics and consider how design shapes physical experience. By developing clear, intuitive navigation and signage, we ensured the audience could explore the immersive space safely and meaningfully. The result was an engaging, accessible exhibition that invited curiosity while supporting all types of visitors.
