Artist Statement
My creative efforts reveal a deep intrinsic passion for portraiture and expose subjects not only for who or what they are, but also for what they can be. I am deliberate with my artistic choices. The structure and expression of the face brings raw emotions and creative imagination to my efforts.
There is always a connection between symbolism and color in my work. The human form involves familiar shapes and sensitivity while abstract elements and calculated color combinations create the emotionally charged atmosphere of each piece.
